I liked the balance that this lesson struck between controlled, guided, and creative communication techniques. The level of the student will largely determine what methods I use, and it's good to know that I have a lot of options when presenting it. I also thought the part on writing comprehension is important and makes for a mature and well-rounded student. There are many obstacles to writing fluency, especially in a SE Asian culture with a pictorial and tonal language, but I think that it must be addressed at some point to further enhance opportunities both personally and professionally for my prospective classroom.
