Pronunciations! To better understand any language is it important to familiarize yourself with that language's "melody" and the flow of their sentences. Without really being aware of it before, I've learned that when speaking English many things happen while I speak: my volume and pitch changes depending on how excited I am, I put "stress" on certain words depending on what it is that I am trying to say without the need of further explanation, and the realization that what is written is not always the way that word is spoken. So many things come into play when you think of what it truly means to be "an expert" in any language, and even more so, what to think about when you are teaching it. Systems of reading/writing such as The Phonetic Alphabet exist, and it's important to be aware of, also to be aware of what exactly is happening in your mouth and vocal cords when you produce words and sound. These are all important things to consider.
