In this lesson, I learned many things about pronunciation and phonology. Intonation is the variation in volume pitch and it has three different types and it is the rise-fall it mainly indicates that the person finished speaking, next is the fall-rise it indicates a person who wants a response and lastly is flat which indicates no interest. In every words and sentence, there is a stress, stress gives an emphasis to a statement. In English there is a phonetic alphabet and phonemic symbols. Phonetic id the pronunciation of a word. In order to say a word we use our mouth, lips, jaw and other speech organs and it is called articulation.
