From this unit I have learned the pros and cons of group activities and individual activities. Either one can be used to its full advantage depending on several factors such as, the size of the classroom, the amount of students, students personalities, ages, nationalities etc. Each student has his/her own personality, and way of learning and interacting with other students and the teacher. Therefore it is of vital importance that the teacher gets to know each student by observing very carefully certain characteristics that may disrupt the class or cause problems for the other students, or certain characteristics that may help and upbuild and encourage other students. The teacher must also establish certain disciplinarian actions that the students will respect, and also must always be in line with the schools rules and regulations, and most importantly the teacher must never shout or scream at the students, but to stay calm at all times so as to maintain mutual respect.
