Unit 9 - Lesson Planning
Writing a lesson plan involves a number of crucial functions. Firstly, it acts as an aid to writing, which means it allows the teacher to write down what they expect from their students to achieve by the end of the lesson and the teacher intends to make that attainable. Additionally, writing a lesson plan will also aid the teacher to comprehend logically through the stages in relation to available time. Secondly, writing a lesson plan acts as a working document, which helps the teacher to keep on target and gives you something to refer to during the lesson. Conversely, this should only be a guide, not the whole scenario of a lesson.
