I can see a lot of potential problems in understanding and teaching reported speech. A lot the sentences make sense in a variety of different orders but they need to follow very specific rules. It would be especially confusing learning the tense change because a lot them can seem very similar. I think that there would need to be a lot of visualization and review of tenses as part of a reported speech lesson. I think I would also have a lot of Activity sections in this because I would want the students to have as much hands on experience with these sentences as possible.
