Managing class is the skill of organising the class with friendly attitude, relaxed manner and in discipline. it has various factors involved like eye contact, gesture, the voice, grouping students, classroom arrangements, giving individual attention, writing on board, teacher and student talk time, having rapport between teacher and student etc. eye contact plays an important role as if there is no eye to eye interaction it shows sign of less confidence. the students would not be interested in teacher's listening as there is no eye contact. gesture plays an important role as it reflects how the teacher is managing and controlling the class. voice if low wouldn't impact on the back benchers. it has to be loud and clear so that every student understands the lesson. Grouping students as pair or whole class has their own advantages and disadvantages. classroom arrangements depends on space availability, Age, Nationality and student's personality. Giving Individual attention also have a huge contribution in class management. It's necessary to know the students name when you address a particular student or giving one to one attention. Giving instructions can be made effective by attracting students attention and making sure that all students are listening to the teacher rather doing their own work. developing rapport plays an important part to know whether the class is success or not. there are many practical ways to develop student teacher rapport. Lastly it focuses on Maintaining Discipline which depends of several factors such as age, class size, code of conduct in school, respect level between the teacher and student.
