Teaching new language explains about teaching Vocabulary. It focuses that the student finds easy when they find similarity in their own language, also similar to the words they already known, spelling and pronunciation. they should need to known the meaning, spelling, where to use the word, Interaction etc. Further vocabulary teaching has 3 techniques Engage, Study and Activate. In engage it includes following techniques, pictures, Discussion, Discovery etc. In Study activities include Gap-filling exercises, Crosswords, Example sentences etc and in Activate stage it has Role play, open class discussion, debate etc. there are 3 main ESA Vocabulary lessons Structures: Boomerang, Straight arrow and Patch work. In Boomerang it is Engage-Activate-Study-Activate. In patchwork structure it should start from Engage and end with Activate in middle there can be as many study, engage and activate. In straight arrow its simple Engage-Study-Activate. Also it teaches about Grammatical structures where it focuses with Meaning, usage, forms and patterns.
