The Unit is a "thinking piece> I particularly like the list of qualities of a good teacher. Basic but extremely important. I consider teaching as both a profession and an avocation. The student motivators are also important if the teacher is going to know how to structure the lessons, to best motivate the students. There is nothing more detrimental than a boring, robot-like teacher. My favorite teachers have always been those that engaged the students, made them want more, so the students cannot wait until the next class. Good teachers usually take pride in their subject knowledge and continue to learn throughout their teaching careers.Not bad for Unit # 1.
