I liked the subject matter and presentation in this unit. I agree with the perception that speaking and writing are equally important, but in different ways. Teaching a writing class to students that do not generally use the English alphabet is remarkably something I haven't thought about in detail before and presents a new set of challenges to me as a potential English teacher. The suggestion to use games for teaching kids and adults is a great idea...it would be great to get students to learn something without it seeming like work!
