This unit is about Troubleshooting or basically problems the teacher faced with in a classroom and how to possibly deal with most of these situations. What to do in the first lesson? In the first lesson, a teacher will basically get to know the students, students get to know each other and just a basic overview of what the course will be like. The teacher should have fun games to entertain the students in English.
The teacher will meet students of different levels and the teacher should make the choice of using different materials for each level of students, or to use the same materials but different task, or to just pair weaker with stronger student. Native language should not be used any at all because students will not pay much attention to L2.
As a teacher, one should find a way to get reluctant students to participate in class, not by force, but by using strategies that will encourage them. One of the strategies that can be used is allowing students to record outside of the class and then the teacher will listen recordings to correct the errors made.
