This unit is about productive skills of teaching, it’s in two categories ( Speaking and Writing). In the speaking aspect, it’s in various activities,i.e controlled activities, guided activities, creative communication In controlled activities , Accuracy of the language is been controlled by the teacher, the teacher uses a drilling way for the students to repeat the words or sentences after the teacher and in the guided activities there’s a little of creativity but still the teacher controls it.In the speaking some students fear of making mistakes or been intimidated by friends. Students should be encouraged to speak without fear , and telling them that mistakes are normal to be make but should embrace correction without feeling embarrassed. Teachers should bring topics for students to have the interests to talk more about it in pair work and give them more to think and talk well. In the writing phase,it’s quite a personal issue but teachers can encourage students to write well because it can affect the reader badly if what’s written isn’t clear.
