"For everything there is an appointed time,even a time for every affair under the heavens."(Ecclesiastes).Studying this module about past tenses Or "times" clarifies some misconceptions in my mind.Learning this lead me to learn that past tense is used to: 1.) talk about the past, 2.)describe the present and future in a conditional statement,3.) to make a hypothetical statement or to imagine and 4.)in polite expressions.Before ,I was really worried about the nitty gritty details of which type of past tense I will be using for a particular sentence at one time but learning this module made it easy for me to identify the types of past tenses to be used.It's really a good idea to keep in my mind the rules and the differences between to clearly convey the message I am trying to convey.Memorizing these rules is tough though,but with a lot of patience,the will to learnb plus self motivations helps me get through all these.Continuity of learning would also be a big help in knowldge retention.
