This unit focused on lesson planning. While a lesson plan should not be a rigid document, it is still a helpful thing for a teacher to have. The form of the plan could vary from teacher to teacher, often based on the experience-level of the teacher. A lesson plan can provide help in planning and honing in on what the teacher wants the students to learn in the lesson. It is very helpful to have these organized so that you can look back at what you did. It is also suggested that you give yourself feedback regarding your lesson so that you can see what worked or did not work, as well as suggestions for how you could improve it in the future. If a teacher does a group of lesson plan to cover a larger unit, they need to remember to remain flexible.
