I have learnt that there are many methodologies that can be used in a classroom, however the methods and approaches adopted in the classroom environment ultimately depends on the teachers personality, the culture of the students and their needs play a huge role in this decision. However, I strongly believe that students need practice, they need to be exposed to the foreign language on a regular basis for them to understand the language and know how to use it in their everyday lives. The teacher should be supporting of their students, understanding the level at which the students are at and planning a lesson targeted at the students' specific level. I also will adopt the ESA method in my classroom as I believe it will be quite useful because involving students in the classroom with less teacher talk is much more beneficial. Having the students motivated will be my number one priority.
