In this unit i learned about modal auxiliary verbs, passive voice VS active voice, phrasal verbs and relative clauses.
Modal auxiliary verbs are used before other verbs to add meaning to the main verb. They are used to express one or more of the following ; Obligation, possibility, permission, ability or/and advice. They can also be used to express varying degrees of formality.
In Passive voice, the object of an active voice becomes the subject of the passive verb. While active voice the focus is on the agent (the do-er).
Relative Clause is a group of words containing a subject and a verb. A Phrasal verb aka Multi-word Verbs, consists of a verb plus one or two particles.
