This unit was about the future and its many tenses.
As with the past and the present, there are four basic tenses:
Future simple: I will drink soda.
Future continuous: I will be drinking soda.
Future perfect: I will have drank soda by then.
Future perfect continuous: I will have been drinking soda for five minutes.
We can also use the going to tense: I am going to drink soda.
The nuances of each of these are intricate and somewhat overlapping in some places but we, as teachers must be diligent about correcting our students especially when it comes to having the verbs reflect properly (correcting "I will be drink soda" should be corrected to "I will be DRINKING soda.")
