I found this unit to be very intense but one of the most interesting aspects of the English language. I always did have an interest how words are formed and how they sound, particularly as we are growing up as children. As a student of Russian, one of the most fascinating aspects for me is how to produce sounds and the difference between the English and Russian languages. I know that Russian mainly is concentrated in the middle of the mouth whereas English is primarily the front. Also stress is entirely different with stress in Russian mainly related to questions and for English it being mainly related to many different constructs within a sentence. Just something interesting I wanted to point out. Overall a very insightful and fascinating unit of study.
