The most important skill I learned from this unit is how to provide feedback for a free/creative speaking activity.
First, we should always watch the time and save some time for feedback during the activity. I used to correct students during the activity and it sometimes led to chaos. feedback section is the perfect time for correction.
Second, let the students know how well the class communicated, point out some excellent points for each student or students in general.
And then, show students videos or audios which were recorded during the activity, and point out how we should improve.
Finally, get the notes which I wrote down earlier on each student's mistakes and point out how they can improve, and let them know mistakes are common in class and we will have lots of time to practice in the future.
