From this unit I realized that as long as people have been learning and teaching language many methods were applied, used and changed to achieve the best results. In recent times ESA method became the most popular as it allows to keep students motivated, be exposed to language and have the opportunity to use it. I am going to employ this method as basic while conducting a class to my future students. As for other methods I will also use some of them as long as they help me to achieve particular objectives but not on a daily basis. Depending on the level of the students and learning objectives I will have to choose Straight Arrow, Boomerang or Patchwork ESA lesson to make my classes more effective. For each of the stages of the lesson I will have to come up with the ideas of activities to fully engage students on the Engage stage, let them learn new English language concepts (without getting bored) on the Study stage and give them a chance to use the language fluently and experiment with it on the Activate stage. And last, but not least I will need to let students correct their own or other students' mistakes and errors or correct them by myself when it is appropriate in a way to let students learn from them and not to become demotivated.
