Teaching young students is very gratifying. In an EFL class are letter names and pronunciation taught or is it just a verbal learning? I was a Montessori teacher many years ago. Montessori taught that children go through periods of sensitivity to learning languages and that once those early windows close it becomes harder for them to learn another language. Perhaps American schools would do well to approach language learning way before high school.
