During this unit I have learnt the importance of a lesson plan. It is a powerful tool to be used for guidance, reference and direction. It should be tailored to the class in question and flexible to suit the students needs. Whilst vitally important especially to new teachers, it should not be taken as a rigid inflexible plan. It should include general info on the class along with specific activities, their timing, which phase of the lesson they are in and the interaction they involve.
