This unit was about teaching receptive skills. We have two receptive skills - reading and listening. They are both equally important in the process of learning a new language. We can divide reasons for reading and listening into two categories: for purpose and for entertainment. First one is important in achieving the particular goal while the second one focuses on what we like or enjoy. In this unit we also had a chance to learn about different types of specialist skills while reading and listening. We also had a chance to learn about problems in process of reading and listening.
