A very interesting unit, in terms of analysing teacher/pupil behaviour. Starting out as a teacher, this highlights the benefits of focusing on listening, rather than speaking, ie. being "child-centred", and knowing when to jump in and help, or letting the student find the solution themselves. Living in France, and bilingual, teaching French people, I have to fight the overwhelming desire to give them the French, but then the English….sometimes impossible, when they really don't understand. Hoping TEFL will help.
