This unit is about theories, methods and techniques. There are 9 methods that can be used in teaching a language. There isn't a right or the best method, each of them suits to the situation, task, class. It all depends. Every lesson consists of 3 stages: engage, study and activate. Engaging means elicit the information from the students using questions, flashcards, showing real or fake objects. The second phase is to focus on the language,i.d. the information in the task. The last part is apply it in a sentence, in the speech. As fas as correction, it is said that error and mistake are divided. Mistakes can be done by a slip of the tongue and errors are deeper by several reasons,but mostly because a student is not aware of making a mistake while speaking or writing.
