In unit 20 I learned that there are two main groups of classes, the new group and the existing group. It is important for the teacher to establish a good rap-ore with both group. I learned that speaking to the students, finding out what English they already know and perhaps playing a game to get the students talking, theses are called warmers, this would e a good way to establish rap-ore. Also asking the students what they expect to get out of the course can help the teacher with the syllabus. I learned that in larger classes it can be a problem if the students haven't been assessed for a level, this can be avoided by giving the students the same materials but asking them to do different tasks. You can also pair the stronger students with the weaker ones. Again managing larger classes you can put people into groups, and use worksheets within the group. Always use English as much as possible during the class to give the students as much practice as possible. Always make sure that all your equipment is in working order,in order avoid embarrassing silences.
