This unit is about a lesson plan. It is really important to do it, especially for an inexperienced teacher. A lesson plan helps a teacher keep on target and gives something to refer to during the lesson. Writing down what a teacher wants the students to achieve by the end of the lesson. It acts as a record of what class has done and which materials have been used. It needs to be simple and flexible. Before the start of the lesson a teacher should: check the lesson plan, run through it, check the equipment, arrange the seating as desired, chat to the students to break the ice and get them in the mood to learn.
