There are 12 tenses in the English language. This unit speaks about the present tense. There 4 present tenses: simple, continuous , perfect, perfect continuous. The most problematic tense is probably present perfect continuous. Students have difficulties with the past participle in the present perfect. There are typical mistakes made by students, so the teacher needs to prepare some extra information/ tasks in advance to help the students to understand and apply it in the speech.
