The final unit covers some of the most common problems faced in the classroom, including reluctance to participate, frequent usage of a student's native language, and listening skills. Reluctance to participate is generally to do with shyness rather than an outright lack of comprehension, and activities that let the students avoid being put on the spot and to instead practice the language with their peers in a large group work best. Frequent usage of a native language is often a sign of lack of comprehension rather than out of malicious intent, but should not be answered in the native language. Finally, listening skills are often one of the most difficult skills to acquire, but for this reason, is should not be avoided entirely because of a fear that the students will find it too challenging.
