In this unit I learned about lesson planning. The unit first explores the functions of lessons plans. They help the teacher focus on how to achieve the objectives of the lesson with relation to allotted time. They are working documents which give the teacher something to refer to during a lesson. They also serve as a written record of what the class has completed and what materials were used. Although there are several ways to do a lesson plan, the unit goes over the basic principles a teacher should follow.
