This unit covers the topic of lesson planning. It begins with three reasons for lesson planning and the differences I its use between beginner teachers and more experienced teachers. It gives a detailed account of what must be included in an effective lesson plan and how it may be formatted. The unit also highlights the importance of self-checking. It gives simple self-check template by which a teacher could use to evaluate the effectiveness of his/her teaching methods and whether or not teaching goals are being met. In my opinion this unit was able to explain the topic ina simple and efficient manner. It was clear in its explanations and I rather enjoyed it.
