I learned a lot from this unit. While I am familiar and comfortable with the idea of verbs, nouns, adverbs, adjectives, articles, conjunctions, and prepositions, this unit broke these ideas down into much more refined concepts for me. I wasn't not familiar with the concept of gerunds and now feel I understand that and how it is different than the term "gerundio" in Spanish, which is important for me since I am learning Spanish and will be teaching in a Spanish-speaking country. This unit also offered a good refresher on pronouns. In sum, I learned a lot and already feel a lot more prepared to begin teaching English.
