This Unit focused on the forms of language that are produced- written and spoken. The emphasis in to engage students with high interest topics and activities, and provide them the structure (vocabulary, sentence structure) to eventually produce their own writing and speaking pieces. There are many different games and activities that can encourage student participation and success, while also effectively teaching students how to speak and write accurately. One of the most important things to remember is not to focus solely on accuracy of language produced, but also on fluency and students' confidence. If planned correctly, lessons can cover both accuracy and fluency and be fun!
