The videos were completely different from one another and effectively demonstrated how important a teacher's attitude about teaching and learning can impact student success. Creating a safe, welcoming learning environment like the second video showed is the first priority for a teacher. Apart from the attitude of the teacher, it is also very important that the teacher is prepared to engage the students in the lesson and make learning accessible. The first video's students were scared and confused because the teacher did not provide them with a well prepared lesson with information that can be easily understood. The second set of students felt comfortable to answer questions and (possibly) make mistakes because they felt safe in the learning environment and they understood the nature of the lesson and what the task was.
