In this unit, we learned how to teach productive skills. The two productive skills are speaking and writing, both used to communicate. It is important that teachers ensure that they are using speaking and writing exercises in the classroom to make students more comfortable with the language. Accuracy and fluency are both important parts of speaking, and while they are both equally important, they are essential at different times.
