I believe the goal of this unit was to introduce the importance of choosing what to teach, as well as giving a chance to consider what methods might be best for different goals. I feel that this unit has made me consider the importance of thinking over lesson plans for every class, and avoiding falling into a habitual structure for all lessons. It has also been a good reminder that making sure students know when to use words and grammatical structures is very important.
