This unit helps me realize that teaching receptive kills is very important - Most people usually think that speaking skills is important than reading skills but in face both skills are equally important because it leads to encourage student to literally understand words and process to gain more understanding the books in English.
Also - This lesson gain a lot of methods to teach student without reading the whole newspaper which help them to know the other way to skimming and only get a general understanding of the content. Moreover , Teacher needs to have the feature in teaching of receptive skills related to comprehension tasks that motivates student to check their understanding in each lesson.
Not only teaching grammar , vocabulary but also reading , listening and speaking skills are equally important for teaching English with a varied lesson that interests students and build the interest in learning in many ways included using the exciting material to practice every skills to support student.
