The content of this unit consisted of teaching pronunciation and phonology. Important forms of pronunciation include intonation and the stressing of syllables. Phonology involves learning how the mouth and throat act to achieve articulation.
From this unit I learned that there is a universal chart of phonemic symbols, which all English users can use, regardless of the local dialect being used.
