The proper use of Phonetics... is it important?, Of course it is but we also must be aware of the many different accents that The English Language has in use allm over the world according to regional and local Intonation of the first language students were born into, I try to use a closer accent to American And also Neutral British (R.P. Received Pronunciation), Rhotic or Non-Rothic as my students grow confident in their Comprehensional skills but with first level I do not use those accents but my own native accent to help them better comprehend the message I am trtying to pass, only with Intermediate and advanced levels I use My Posh English.
