In this unit, I learned that all students are different, and a good teacher will be patient while identifying how to approach each student, while making the class effective for all students. Students will come in a variety of learning levels and there are multiple variables that will determine the type of learner each student is. A good teacher can work with all levels and will be flexible in their teaching to best suite the student's needs. A successful teacher will be able to motivate students by providing a varied and interesting classroom environment, organize students to complete activities, give constructive feedback, have control over the classroom, be a model for the student's on learning, and to participate as an equal in the classroom. A successful student will be ones that are motivated, confident, and willing to ask questions. The basic lesson I learned in this unit is; both teachers and students need to be motivated to be successful and work with each other to achieve a common goal.
