I learned the difference between receptive and productive skills in language. I have always believed reading and listening to be as important as speaking/writing and it was very helpful to have a definition of each. The breakdown of skills was helpful as well as the information on selecting texts. It would be nice to read a few more examples of where to find texts or activities to incorporate in the lesson. However, I am happy there was a sample lesson plan and materials to read.
