There are many important factors in managing a classroom. From the teacher, eye contact holds attention, can show something is correct and it encourages the students. Classroom arrangement also affects the kinds of instructions, lesson, or activities that will take place. Grouping students can be done into whole class grouping, individual work, pair work and group work. Each grouping has it's own pros and cons. Finally the teacher needs to be able to maintain discipline in the classroom.
