Today’s lesson was a great chance to review how to organize lesson plans to teach new language. In order to teach new concept, a teacher needs to follow organized steps. ESA (engage-study-active) structure can be applied to different lesson plans in all ages. Sometimes a teacher disregards the importance of “engage stage” and jumps to “study stage” right away. I believe well-developed “engage stage” is a great way to keep students interested in new concept.
