It is important to give the right type of test at the right time to help students effectively. It will help to place the students in the right class that meets their proficiency, and then have a diagnostic test to aid with the teacher in lesson preparation. Progress tests are important for a class. It gives both teacher and students feedback on their understanding. I am also exposed to the different types of external exams that are catered to different students' motivations. It is important that i give my students the correct practice tests that help them to score in the external exam.
