Lesson planning has important functions as an aid to planning, being a working document and it serves as a record of lesson. The teacher must be flexible and being able to adjust lessons to match the classroom but also keep focused on the objective and goal of the lesson. Lesson plans should include learner objectives, personal aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems for both the students and the teacher, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, the number of students, date and time, and finally the teacher's and observer's names.
