This unit shows us how to evaluate students. Some internal tests will provide information on what level your students have by taking a placement test. A diagnostic test will tell you what your students already know and what different areas they need to focus on. A progress test will show you how your students are progressing and what they have retained from what they have been studying. Students also will have to take external practice tests, depending what they are preparing for, be it University or work outside their native countries.
The unit also tells us about evaluations done by students. These evaluations will tell the school if all the skills are equally integrated in the classroom or what changes need to be made, for example, in Grammar, or if the course is too easy or too difficult for them. This will make the course more interactive and will give teachers more feedback on what and how they are doing.
There are also tutorials which can take place with the whole group or individual students. This will aid students to review material which has not been fully absorbed, or if any problems were encountered.
