This unit spoke about the importance of creating a lesson plan, especially for a new teacher. I learned that although new teachers should follow a lesson plan template, more experience teachers can simply write brief notes on what the class will be doing that day and what they hope to achieve. These notes are important to refer back to or in case you ever have a substitute teacher. Finally I learned from the activity examples that were given how to translate those into a proper lesson plan.
