I believe the first Unit was a good introduction into teaching English for people with no such experience. Although a lot of the material that was covered felt common sense to some degree - as for example the ways a learner's age influences their classroom experience - it was nevertheless helpful to receive a framework that underlines the basics of the classroom. I especially enjoyed the first section that gave an overview of all the different roles a teacher has to embrace in order to be an effective teacher.
