This unit was another lesson on English grammar rules, this time focusing on modals, intransitive/transitive phrasal verbs and active versus passive voice. I used to have trouble with accurately recognizing the difference between active and passive verb forms, so the concise explanation given in this chapter helped me grasp what I had been missing. The table on the usage of modals also helped clear up any confusion I may have had on the subject. I feel much more comfortable with the idea of teaching these concepts to students.
