The unit material covered modal auxiliary verbs and the passive voice as well as points about phrasal verbs and relative clauses. Thought the basic rules for modal verbs was helpfully explained in terms of ideas such as obligation, possibility/probability. The chart for modal verb usage in accordance with ideas, present/future and past example expressions was also helpful. I learnt the rules for converting the tense of a sentence into the passive voice. I also learnt about the types of phrasal verbs, being intransitive, transitive separable and transitive inseparable.
